Whether you want to visit the theme parks, play some of Florida's superb golf courses, fish in the lakes or shop in some of the numerous malls we hope by the time you have finished viewing Green View Villa you will decide it is the place for your stay in the sunshine state.

Green View Villa is a luxury home with its own salt water filtered swimming pool.  It is fully air-conditioned with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (2 master suites each with an en-suite bathroom and 2 twin bedrooms which share the third bathroom) and sleeps 8. It has all the comforts of home including wi-fi and a desktop computer.

The villa overlooks a green at the prestigious Southern Dunes Golf and Country Club, a gated community 40 minutes from Orlando International airport and 20 minutes from Disney gates. Using the Interstate 4 which runs from the east coast to the west coast all of Central Florida's famous attractions are within easy reach.

Southern Dunes is in a tranquil setting on the US 27 south of Interstate 4.  Just outside the main gates, walking distance, is a range of supermarkets, petrol station, bank, chemists, Blockbusters and a variety of restaurants, including the very popular Manny's Chophouse.
 
Southern Dunes golf course is ranked in the top 100 modern American golf courses. It was designed in 1993 by Steve Smyers and its dramatic hillside layout stretches to over 7,200 yards and features 100ft elevation changes, which are not typically found in Central Florida.

Green View Villa has under gone many upgrades to maintain its high standard. These include complete redecoration, full 1080 HD flat panel television, new lounge furniture, dining suite, king and queen beds in the master bedrooms, new single beds all with pillow top mattresses, bedside cabinets in the twin rooms and new bedding throughout.

The pool has been changed from a chlorine system to a salt water filtration system which is much softer and kinder to skin and hair and has the advantage of 'no more red stinging eyes'.

For comfort there is air-conditioning throughout and ceiling fans in all rooms.

Entertainment is available for all, including; cable televisions in all rooms, Playstation 2, multi region DVD, CD and radio, selection of books and games for all ages, air hockey, football table and electronic darts board. Wi Fi access throughout, including by the pool, and for those travelling without a laptop a desktop is provided.

In the double garage is a washing machine, tumble dryer, clothes airer, ironing board, iron and vacuum cleaner.

The villa has its own private pool (heating optional extra) with underwater lighting and lanai overlooking the golf course. Florida glass has been added to the  base panel of the pool screen for additional privacy. For relief from the hot sun, our covered lanai with ceiling fan, patio table and chairs is the place to be.

Sun loungers are provided for those wishing to soak up the hot tropical sun. When the sun goes down subtle lighting makes it ideal for alfresco meals and drinks or a BBQ. The pool is also protected by a safety fence, which is required by state law if children are present, but can be removed for adult parties.

A high chair, travel cot and a buggy/stroller are provided for use by our younger guests.

Telephone calls throughout America and Canada are free of charge.                         

Towels, pool towels and bed linen are provided free of charge.

GREAT ROOM- fully tiled floor with a large bay window at the side and high ceiling complete with ceiling fan.

Comfortable sectional sofa with chaise and additional seating area. Desktop computer for those not travelling with a laptop.

DINING AREA- The table extends and will comfortably seat 8 people.  
It is conveniently placed to look out over the pool area and golf course.

KITCHEN - fully equipped with everything you could ever need in a home away from home; ice maker, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, waste disposal unit, telephone, crockery, cutlery and glassware and plenty of cooking equipment and utensils.

MASTER BEDROOM 1 - has views of the golf course and patio doors lead out to the covered lanai.  This room has a Sealy Posturpedic king sized bed, cable television, clock/radio alarm and telephone.  A large walk in closet, with plenty of hanging space and a chest of drawers.

The ensuite bathroom also doubles as a pool bathroom with an access door leading directly to the pool area.  It has a shower, toilet, wash basin with a large lit mirror over and a hairdryer.

2ND MASTER BEDROOM- has a queen bed, cable television, clock/radio alarm, chest of drawers and large fitted wardrobe.

The ensuite bathroom is fitted with a bath with shower over, toilet, vanity unit with a large lit mirror and a hairdryer.

TWIN BEDROOMS - the villa has two twin bedrooms, each with twin beds, chest of drawers, large fitted wardrobe, cable television.

 
BATHROOM - the main family bathroom is near the twin bedrooms and has a bath with shower over, toilet and a large lit mirror and vanity unit.  There is also a cupboard with an ample supply of towels, bathrooms scales and linen hamper.

POOL AREA- the pool is salt water filtered pool within a screened patio area. Florida glass has been added to the bottom panel of the screen enclosure for added privacy. The pool is protected by a safety fence, which is removable for adult parties but current law states it should be kept in position if children are present. There are built in steps at one end and a seat at the other.  The pool has underwater lighting and heating, which is advisable during the winter months.

The pool area includes a covered lanai, a great asset in the hot Florida sun, and overlooks the golf course.  The patio table and chairs, sun loungers and outside lighting make it a great place any time of day or night be it for breakfast, a BBQ or alfresco drink at the end of a busy day. 

The villa is serviced and maintained by our management company on a regular basis.

Southern Dunes is a 24 hour gated community in an attractive and peaceful setting with the houses woven around the golf course.

The golf course is ranked in the top 100 modern American golf courses and was designed in 1993 by Steve Smyers. It's dramatic hillside layout stretches to over 7,200 yards and features 100ft elevation changes, not typically found in Central Florida. In the March 2004 issue Southern Dunes Golf and Country Club has been ranked 6th in Florida in Golfweek's America 's Best Courses you can play.

If you are not a golfer wanting to play this superb course or to use the driving range why not try the clubhouse bar or restaurant, which serves a fantastic variety of delicious meals, welcomes children and is only a 5 minute walk from our villa.

As a guest staying in our villa, you will also be eligible for free use of the other features within the Southern Dunes Golf & Country Club. These include a communal swimming pool, tennis courts, gym, library and children's adventure playground. For anglers why not try fishing at one of the many local lakes in the area which is known as the "Bass Capital of the World"?


All the needs of a self catering tourist can be met by the huge selection of shops literally just outside Southern Dunes. There is a large 24 hour Wal*Mart, supermarkets, chemists, banks, petrol station, hairdressing salon, liquor store and restaurants including the very popular Manny's Chophouse.

Southern Dunes is off US 27 which goes south to Legoland and Miami and north to the I-4 for the airport, theme parks, east to Kennedy Space Centre and the space coast, west to Busch Gardens and the fantastic white sandy beaches on the gulf coast.
